Due to issues with members, these new rules will be put into place, effective immediately.
All rules will be STRICTLY enforced at all times. Any infractions will result in minor to severe consequences.
Head Administrator: Rados (username admin)
Moderators: Eclipse (wizardspupil), mrduckyrox, luckichic07, seanfan1, and Magenta Mezeek (hogwartsqueen)
RULES:
-Respect the Moderators. Moderators are the people with colored stars below their names.
-Do not says malicious things about the book characters and the actors of the movies. The characters are fictional and the actors...well, it’s their job.
-No chatspeak allowed. It causes distraction and some people don’t understand it. The Moderators know most chatspeak, but we don’t want it in the forums.
-No swearing is allowed. Some words have filters, but most of them will have to be weeded out by the Moderators. Rados's ISP refuses to post stuff with swearing. Prior permission is needed for posting swearwords in Fan Fics.
COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
-Site questions should be posted in the “Ask Rados” thread in the Comments board. Personal questions should be sent to the moderators by PM.
-Suggestions on bettering the site are appreciated and will be considered.
-If you have a problem with a member (NOT MODERATORS) send a PM to Rados, Eclipse (wizardspupil), mrduckyrox, luckichic07, seanfan1, and Magenta Mezeek (hogwartsqueen). We’ll try to help you out. If you have problems with the Moderators, get over it.
MEMBER OF THE MONTH
There are very few requirements to be considered for the honor of Member of the Month. Applicants must leave a post in the Application thread (located in the Member of the Month board). Applicants must be in good standing with the Administrators and must be an active member of the site. If you have received and Administrative warning, you cannot be considered for Member of the Month. NO EXCEPTIONS.
DEDUCTIONS
-Custom title changes will be made once without a penalty, but any afterward will be a deduction of 10 posts. If an administrator messed up your title or if you already have a title that a previous Administrator gave you, we will change it without a deduction.
CONSEQUENCES FOR RULEBREAKING
Chatspeak or illegal cursing- modified post
*Disrespect to fellow members- modified post, 5 post deduction, Administrative warning
Character/Actor bashing- modified or deleted post, 5 post deduction
*Disrespect to Moderators- 20 post deduction, Administrative warning
*Repeat offenders will have the listed consequences, plus...
Second Offense- 10 post deduction
Third Offense- 20 post deduction, 1 day suspension
Fourth Offense- 1 week suspension
Fifth Offense- 30 day suspension, Administrators decide if member should be banned
Sixth Offense- Banned from site (once you are banned, DO NOT JOIN AGAIN WITH A DIFFERENT NAME/E-MAIL ADDRESS)
